Friction is always anticipated when metal wire slides through ceramic slot surface. The result is greater anchorage taxation.
I always attempt to minimize this problem by placing metal bracket on 2nd Premolars.
1st Premolar brackets are readily abundant in our stock. These can be used on 2nd Premolars. Other measure I adopt is to rely on TAds for anchorage.
