The intrusion is done with a vertical loop of 5 mm to 7 mm high, that has a circular loop in the gingival end.
This is done on the arch wire (steel or TMA) and is located, generally, between the lateral and the canine. It
has an anterior intrusion step of 3 mm to 5 mm.
